On June 11, US President Donald Trump said that billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk's statement of regret over his social media posts about the American leader was "very sweet."

"I think that's very nice of him," Trump said in an interview with The New York Post (NYP).

Earlier in the day, Musk expressed regret over the posts about Trump that he posted on social media. In addition, on June 9, the entrepreneur noted that he had ruined his reputation himself.
