Participation in Intervision was confirmed by 19 foreign countries

Participation in the international song contest "Intervision" has already been confirmed by 19 foreign countries, including the United States. Anastasia Grigoryeva, the head of the project's press service, told Izvestia about this on June 11.

"Tomorrow we will have a studio event, <...> and there we will present the countries that we have confirmed at the moment. These are 19 foreign countries and Russia. There are 20 in total. <...> The United States really is among these 20 countries," she noted.

According to Grigorieva, each participant will have their own selection process. She also added that performers from Africa, Latin America and Asia will perform at the competition.

Earlier that day, the organizers of Intervision announced that representatives of the United States would participate in the song contest. It is specified that Serbia will also take part, which will be represented by composer and singer Slobodan Trkul and the musical group Balkanopolis.

On May 19, it was reported that Russia would be represented at Intervision by the Honored Artist of Russia, author and performer SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov).
