- Rakova told about the festive program for the Day of the medical Worker in Moscow

The capital is preparing a large-scale program for the Day of the Medical Worker, said Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.
"On the eve of the Day of the Medical Worker, Muscovites will be able to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who devoted themselves to this noble profession. We will open special art objects in different parts of the city — in the Museon, at VDNKH and Patriarch's Ponds, where anyone can send their "Thank You" by clicking on it. All collected congratulations will be displayed on the central installation in the form of a huge heart on Manezhnaya Square — it will show in real time how many thanks have been sent," said Rakova.
On the occasion of the professional holiday of healthcare workers, all interested Muscovites will be able to participate in the action: launch a water flashlight as a sign of respect for medical professionals and appreciation for their work. "And on the holiday itself, portraits of our wonderful doctors and warm words from the residents of the city will light up on media facades throughout the capital," said the deputy mayor.
A number of festive events will start on June 11. For example, O. M. Filatov Hospital No. 15 will host a concert by the Simple Music Ensemble Chamber music studio for medical professionals.
In addition, on Medical Worker's Day on June 15, Moscow doctors and employees of the capital's healthcare system are scheduled to have a free treat at the GUM fountain — they will be offered the famous ice cream.
