U.S. representatives will take part in the Intervision 2025 contest

Representatives of the United States will participate in the international song contest "Intervision-2025". This was announced on June 11 by the organizers of the contest.

"Indeed, the United States has confirmed its participation in Intervision. The names of the participants will be announced later," TASS reports.

It is specified that Serbia will also take part in the competition, which will be represented by composer and singer Slobodan Trkul, as well as the musical group Balkanopolis. Serbian Government Minister Nenad Popovic congratulated the group on participating in the competition and stressed the importance of cultural cooperation between the two countries.,

"Support for projects such as Intervision is very necessary for us today. I believe that it is culture that creates a space of trust, mutual understanding and unity between our peoples. I wish Balkanopolis a bright performance and a response in the hearts of the listeners. And I will be rooting for Serbia," he concluded.

On May 19, it was reported that Russia would be represented at Intervision by the Honored Artist of Russia, author and performer SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov).

On February 5, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that the participating countries would be able to show their best musical traditions without censorship at Intervision. According to him, 20 countries have already submitted applications to send their representatives to the competition jury.
