A video of the process of transferring the bodies of the dead Ukrainian military has been published

Footage of the process of transferring the bodies of dead soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to the Ukrainian side, which took place on June 11, has been published. The video is available to Izvestia.

Earlier in the day, Russian Presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said that Russia had handed over 1,212 bodies of dead Ukrainian militants to Ukraine. Kiev, in turn, returned to Moscow 27 dead soldiers of the Armed Forces of Russia.

It was specified that the work on the transfer of the bodies of the victims will continue in the following days.

On June 8, the representative of the Russian negotiating group, Lieutenant General Alexander Zorin, reported that Russia was ready to fulfill all agreements on the exchange of prisoners of war and the transfer of the bodies of dead soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Zorin emphasized that the transfer of the bodies of the dead soldiers is of a humanitarian nature.
