Police officers detained two people, 32 illegal migrants, after a conflict near a shopping center in Chekhov, Moscow region, as a result of which two people, 32 illegal migrants, were injured. This was reported on June 11 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

"Police officers <...> took 32 alleged participants of the incident to the territorial department," the Telegram channel says.

According to the agency, the defendants were brought to administrative responsibility under Article 18.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation by a foreign citizen or a stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation").

All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

Earlier in the day, Irina Volk, an official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry, said that eight suspects of organizing illegal migration had been detained in the city of Dmitrov, Moscow Region. It was noted that for two years the defendants had been looking for foreigners who illegally stayed in Russia. For example, migrants were given fictitious documents for a fee and helped with temporary registration.
