The court in Kazan released Musin, the ex-head of Tatfondbank, from punishment due to illness

The Vakhitovsky district court of Kazan granted the petition of the former head of Tatfondbank Robert Musin from serving his sentence due to illness. This was reported on June 11 by TASS with reference to the court's press service.

Musin was sentenced to 12.5 years in a penal colony for abuse of power, which entailed grave consequences. His sentence was later commuted to 11 years in prison.

It clarifies that the decision on release from punishment must be executed immediately.
