On June 11, the exhibition "Time does not wait! Clocks and clockwork from the leading museums of Moscow". The exhibition will run until November 16.

"The exhibition is dedicated to watchmaking and shows a small part of our collection of the Polytechnic Museum, which consists of more than 3 thousand exhibits. Here we presented 118 unique rare watches," said Dmitry Kozhanov, General Director of the Polytechnic Museum in Moscow.

He told about a special exhibit, the Franz Karas watch, which was made for the coronation of Emperor Nicholas II.

"Their uniqueness lies in the fact that they can work for 600 days in one factory. And they show, like a chronometer, the seasons, the lunar cycles, time, and dates," Kozhanov emphasized.

According to him, the Special Purpose Garage is a long—standing strategic partner of the museum. Earlier, an exhibition was held here, where a part of the museum's automotive collection dedicated to the beginning of the twentieth century was presented.

"Watches kill time, because when we look at a watch, you and I switch from the natural flow of time to this mechanical discrete fragmentation, which is created by mechanical watches and any other. On the other hand, this switch from the natural flow of time allowed us <...> synchronize society with each other," added Konstantin Chaikin, an independent watchmaker and Honored inventor of the Russian Federation.

On May 21, a documentary photo exhibition "Kursk character. Afterword", which tells about the events in the Kursk region from August 2024 to April 2025. The exhibition features an exposition of 31 photographs depicting volunteers, rescuers of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, doctors, administration staff, clergy and residents of the region.
