Avarkom cars on M-11 equipped with cameras for recording traffic violations

On the M-11 Neva toll highway in the Tver region, emergency commissars' cars were equipped with camera complexes with the ability to record traffic violations, including speeding. The press service of the state-owned Avtodor company announced this in its Telegram channel on June 11.
The complexes were installed on the machines in a test mode. In the future, they are planned to be placed on commissars' cars on the Central Ring Road and M-12 Vostok to identify vehicles with closed/unreadable registration plates to identify defaulters.
The state-owned company noted that the number of accidents on the 650 to 684 km M-11 Neva highway has almost halved over the past year. From October 15, 2023 to April 30, 2024, 51 accidents occurred on it, and from October 15, 2024 to April 30, 2025, 26 accidents occurred.
On February 25, it was reported that artificial intelligence (AI) was tested on the M-11 highway to assess the quality of noise barriers. If now specialists do this manually, driving around roads and fixing defects, then in the future AI will automate this process, eliminating the human factor.
Since February 17, Avtodor has abolished fines for spending more than two hours between the points of entry and exit from the M-11 Neva highway with a total route length of less than 50 km.
