The Europeans cannot integrate them permanently into the country, so they rather adopted a strategy of slowly squeezing them back, that is, reducing and reducing the preferences they initially gave to refugees," Zharikhin said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

He added that Europe no longer has enough funding for the maintenance of Ukrainian refugees.

"The economic situation in Europe is no longer as radiant as it was in those days when there were still cheap Russian energy sources, but there was already enthusiasm for Ukrainian refugees, and now there are refugees, but there are no cheap energy sources," he concluded.
