Thunderstorms, heavy rain and gusty winds are expected in the Moscow region on June 13-14. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Moscow region on Wednesday, June 11.

"From the afternoon of June 13 to 10:00 a.m. on June 14, rain is expected in the Moscow region, heavy in places, thunderstorms, with wind gusts of 15-17 m/s," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.

Due to the expected weather conditions, it is recommended to stay indoors with closed windows whenever possible, stay away from trees, power lines, billboards and reservoirs.

Earlier in the day, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, told NSN that during the four-day weekend, Muscovites will have cool weather up to +18 degrees and rains, and the temperature in the reservoirs will drop to +17 degrees, so it will be uncomfortable to swim.
