- Reshetnikov reported on the elaboration of multiple-use electronic visas in the Russian Federation

The Ministry of Economic Development, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, is working on introducing the possibility of multiple-use electronic visas to Russia. This was announced on June 11 by the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov at the international tourism forum "Travel!".
"Currently, the list of countries with an electronic visa includes 64. In the near future, it is planned to extend the period of stay on an electronic visa from 16 to 30 days. In particular, there is a request for multiple use of an electronic visa," Reshetnikov said.
According to him, the Ministry of Economic Development is working on this decision together with the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Border Guard Service.
On June 10, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that every year the demand for travel in Russia is growing, and the development of tourism has a positive impact on the budgets of the country's constituent entities. According to the Prime Minister, despite the sanctions, more than 9 million foreign tourists came to Russia.
