- The Foreign Ministry promised to respond to Germany's actions against Russian journalists.

The Russian side will respond to Germany's aggressive actions against journalists from the Russian Federation. This was announced on June 11 by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.
According to her, the German authorities have taken a political course towards ousting Russia's media presence from their information space.
Thus, Germany uses various methods, for example, blocking broadcasting, denial of accreditation, as well as harassment and forceful influence on journalists and their family members, Zakharova noted.
"We will all give an appropriate response to this. The measures are being worked out and will be followed in the near future," the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.
Zakharova announced on June 3 that Russia had imposed retaliatory measures against Greece for refusing to extend the accreditation of RIA Novosti correspondent Gennady Melnik. According to her, as a retaliatory measure, a high-ranking Greek official involved in restricting the work of Russian media in the republic's media space was banned from entering the territory of the Russian Federation.
