US President Donald Trump has stated that he does not have negative feelings for billionaire and businessman Elon Musk after their conflict on social networks. The American leader said this on June 11 on the Pod Force One podcast of the New York Post.

"I don't hold it against him. I was very surprised by what happened — he criticized a phenomenal bill, the best this country has ever seen," Trump said.

The US president added that he hasn't been thinking about the Mask and their quarrel very often lately. When asked if he was ready to forgive Musk, Trump replied, "I think so."

On June 11, Musk expressed regret over the posts about Trump that he posted on social media. Earlier, the billionaire said that he had ruined his reputation himself.

On June 3, Musk criticized the draft budget proposed by the White House, calling it an abomination. Later, on June 5, Musk publicly supported the idea of impeaching Trump. The president, in turn, wrote that terminating contracts with Musk is the best way to save money in the US budget. At the same time, Tesla shares fell sharply.
