The US-China trade deal is almost completed, it remains only to receive the final approval of the leaders of both countries. This was announced on June 11 by US President Donald Trump.

"Our deal with China has been prepared and is subject to final agreement with me and the chairman [of China]. Xi [Jinping]," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.

According to him, rare earth materials will be supplied to Washington by Beijing. In return, the United States will provide places in educational institutions for Chinese students. The American leader also stressed that the United States will receive 55% of tariffs, and China — 10%.

On the eve of the Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, He Lifeng, said that China supports economic cooperation with the United States and does not want to wage a trade war, but is not afraid of confrontation.

Prior to that, on June 5, Xi Jinping called on the United States to lift negative measures against China. China Central Television (CCTV) clarifies that during the conversation, the Chinese president pointed out the importance of intensifying cooperation between the two countries in various fields and invited the American president to visit China.
