Wagenknecht supports the initiative of the Social Democrats of Germany on dialogue with the Russian Federation

Sarah Wagenknecht, leader of the Sarah Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice (SSV) party, supported the initiative of a number of German Social Democrats to start a dialogue with Russia. This was announced on June 11 by the portal tixio.de .

According to the newspaper, the manifesto on a different foreign policy course was put forward by a number of politicians of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).

"The CER is happy to participate in such cooperation," Wagenknecht said.

She called it a much-needed initiative. In particular, she praised the authors for criticizing the planned deployment of American intermediate-range missiles in Germany.

Wagenknecht expressed the hope that all forces in Germany, which consider the course of Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil to be dangerous, would cooperate without reservations and jointly strive to revive a strong peace movement.
