On June 11, US President Donald Trump, on the Pod Force One podcast of the New York Post, called the last conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin good.

"We had a good conversation, but so far nothing has come of it," Trump said.

The American leader once again stressed that he was on excellent terms with Putin, and said that during that conversation the leaders discussed the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.

"And this conflict would never have happened if the [US presidential] elections in 2020 had not been rigged," Trump said.

On June 4, Trump announced that he had held a telephone conversation with Putin, during which the leaders, in addition to the conflict in Ukraine, also touched upon the situation with Iran's nuclear program.

The next day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the dialogue between Trump and Putin constructive. In addition, the press secretary of the Russian leader stated that there was no agreement on a meeting between the two presidents.
