Russian shooter Marsov won silver at the World Cup in Germany

On June 11, Russian athlete Ilya Marsov won a silver medal at the World Cup in Rifle Shooting, which takes place in Munich.

Marsov scored 462 points, which is 2 points less than the gold medalist, Norwegian Jon-Hermann Hegg (464.1 points). Czech shooter Jiri Przywratski took the bronze (452 points). The competition will last until June 15th.

On April 29, Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), said that the situation in the world indicates that Russian sports is approaching the lifting of sanctions. According to him, most officials in Europe advocate the return of athletes from Russia to international competitions.
