- The Russian Foreign Ministry announced its readiness to transfer 6,000 bodies of dead soldiers to Ukraine.

Russia is fully prepared to fulfill all the agreements reached in Istanbul and transfer to Ukraine 6,000 bodies of dead soldiers and officers of the Ukrainian army. This was announced on June 11 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"Russia is fully prepared to fulfill all the agreements reached in Istanbul, and we expect the same approach from the Ukrainian side," she said at a briefing.
Zakharova added that 1,212 bodies of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had been delivered to the Russian-Ukrainian border. However, Kiev refused to accept them, which, according to the diplomat, "shocked" the whole world.
On June 10, Zakharova said that Kiev's refusal to take away the bodies of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants killed during the special military operation was a disgrace to the whole world. She stressed that the Russian side collects the bodies and "insistently asks them to be taken away for burial," while the West, through the hands of Kiev neo-Nazis, "kills everyone" and does not take the dead.
