The Kremlin appreciated the EC's proposal to lower prices for Russian oil
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday, June 11, commented on the proposal of the European Commission (EC) to reduce the price of Russian oil in the 18th package of sanctions to $ 45 per barrel in the G7 countries.
He recalled that Russia "has been living under restrictions for several days" and has already gained the necessary experience to cope with such challenges.
"Of course, such actions do not contribute to the stabilization of international energy markets and the oil market, but of course, Russia has been living under various restrictions for several days, which we still consider illegal, and Russia has already gained some very useful experience in order to minimize any negative consequences from such decisions." — said Peskov.
