Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the injury of a civilian in the Kursk region as a result of a targeted attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a civilian car near the village of Shchegolek, Belovsky district. This was announced on June 11 by the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation Svetlana Petrenko.

"As part of the investigation of the criminal case of a terrorist act (paragraphs "a" and "b" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), military investigators are establishing the circumstances of another crime committed by Ukrainian servicemen in the Kursk region," she said.

It was established that on the evening of June 6, militants of Ukrainian formations using an FPV drone carried out a targeted attack on a civilian car. As a result, a man was injured. During the interrogation, he shared that he was driving home after work. The victim was able to get home, after which he was taken to the hospital. The man also noted that in the morning of the same day, he was also followed by a drone, but he was able to leave.

Military investigators recorded the damage to the vehicle, and also appointed examinations to determine the severity of the injury and the amount of damage.
