A farewell ceremony for Anatoly Gunitsky, poet and journalist, co-founder of the Aquarium rock band, has begun in St. Petersburg. The footage is published by Izvestia on June 11.

The event takes place at the crematorium on Shafirovsky Avenue. The gathered fans and relatives of the musician came with a lot of flowers.

Gunitsky died on June 5 at the age of 72. It was noted that he had been seriously ill in recent years.

The musician performed under the pseudonym George. He played drums in the Aquarium and also wrote lyrics for songs. Gunitsky's poems were used in many albums of the band, including "The Temptation of the Holy Aquarium", "Minuet to the Farmer", "Parables of Count Diffuser" and many others.
