The court acquitted the organizers of the eletkroshoker quest in St. Petersburg

The Leninsky District Court of St. Petersburg acquitted two organizers of the taser quest, as a result of which a teenager was injured. This was reported on June 11 by a correspondent of Izvestia.
"To acquit due to the absence of the crime event," the judge concluded.
Compensation for moral damage to the plaintiff was refused.
"We are very disappointed, and we will use all legal means to review this decision," said Irina Leonova, the mother of the injured boy.
The incident occurred on February 23, 2023. According to the investigation, a group of teenagers took part in a quest organized in a room on Tsiolkovsky Street. As a result of the incident, a 17-year-old teenager was injured.
The boy's mother told law enforcement agencies that the organizers beat the participants with a stun gun, dragged the girls by the hair, chained teenagers to a bed and dripped red-hot wax on their stomachs. Two criminal cases were opened into the incident — under Article 238 of the Criminal Code ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements") and Article 112 of the Criminal Code ("Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health").
Earlier, on May 26, two organizers of the quest, where five teenagers were injured in 2022, received suspended sentences. The defendants were charged under clause "a" of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement").
On September 11, 2022, a small gas cylinder caught fire in the quest room when teenagers took part in the game: four boys aged 14-15, as well as two presenters aged 22 and 25. It was clarified that the victims received thermal burns.
