A fourth person involved in the attack on a courier in Moscow City has been detained

The fourth person involved in the criminal case of embezzlement of 127 million rubles from a courier in Moscow City has been detained. This was announced on June 11 by the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office.

"A 21-year—old man has been charged with committing robbery, using violence that is not dangerous to life and health, on an especially large scale," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is reported that it was he who told the accomplices the information about the date, place and time of the courier's appearance with the money. The department added that the investigation of the criminal case is ongoing, the prosecutor's office is monitoring this work.

On May 26, it was reported that near Moscow City, intruders stole 127 million rubles from a man and fled by taxi. Three unidentified men approached the man on the embankment, after a conversation they beat him and took his suitcase.

Later, on May 28, the Presnensky District Court of Moscow arrested two defendants in the case for two months. On June 2, it became known about the detention of the third suspect.
