T-Bank and UNN will expand cooperation

The management of T-Bank, representatives of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and Nizhny Novgorod Lobachevsky State University held a meeting in Nizhny Novgorod on the eve of the 110th anniversary of the university. This was announced by T-Bank.
One of the key topics of the meeting was the issue of staff outflow from the regions. Representatives of T-Bank stressed the importance of creating working and living conditions for young professionals in their hometowns.
"T-Bank is not a Moscow company, we have more than 25 IT hubs in Russia and Belarus, and the Nizhny Novgorod hub is one of the largest. Many of our employees are UNN graduates, and we see how high—quality education they receive. But the problem is that talented guys often leave for the capital, although there are all the opportunities for growth in the regions. We need to change this trend," said Stanislav Bliznyuk, head of T—Bank.
"At UNN, we not only provide students with deep theoretical knowledge, but also actively develop practical competencies. It is impossible to solve this problem without interaction with the industry. A reliable partner of the university is T-Bank, whose specialists conduct classes in various IT disciplines. T-Bank provides a platform for practical training and provides financial support," said Oleg Trofimov, Rector of UNN State University.
The heads of T-Bank and Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University noted that close cooperation between universities and business is a key factor in training highly sought—after specialists. Employers have unique expertise, know the current market requirements and can help universities adapt educational programs to modern realities.
In turn, universities need the support of companies.: This includes access to advanced technologies, internships for talented students, and grants for teachers.
Following the meeting, it was decided to expand cooperation between T-Bank and the university. Key areas of cooperation were discussed, including the development of business cooperation with universities and schools in order to train in-demand personnel, the use of the infrastructure of regional universities for T-Bank educational events, the implementation of support programs for young regional specialists and teachers of technical specialties, investments in education and science, as well as measures to popularize them. Special attention was paid to the creation of a personnel reserve based on regional universities and T-Bank development centers.
Konstantin Markelov, Vice President and Director of Product and Technology at T-Bank, also gave a lecture to students at N. I. Lobachevsky National Research University and spoke about how the company's ecosystem works, as well as about the "three secret elements" of T-Bank's culture that allow business development - the pioneer mentality, the willingness to take on unsolvable tasks and an uncluttered team.
