Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the allocation of an additional 2.3 billion rubles in 2025 for the repair of highways in new regions of the Russian Federation. This was announced on June 11 by the press service of the Russian government.

"In 2025, more than 2.3 billion rubles will be additionally allocated for the repair of highways in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions," a statement published on the official website of the Russian government said.

It is specified that the financing will be directed from the government's reserve fund. According to the government, additional funds will make it possible to bring roads of regional, inter-municipal and local importance, as well as a street and road network with a total length of 84.6 km, to a standard condition.

The government noted that 49.9 km of roads are planned to be repaired in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), 16.5 km in the Kherson region, 13.6 km in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), and 4.6 km in the Zaporizhia region.

Mishustin announced on April 10 that the Russian government would allocate more than 520 million rubles for the construction of apartment buildings in the DPR and the Zaporizhia region. He also noted that the implementation of a large-scale state program for the restoration and socio-economic development of new regions continues.
