President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky does not find a new approach to American leader Donald Trump. This was announced on June 11 by former Pentagon adviser, retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas MacGregor.

"Zelensky is detached from reality and is not a negotiating partner. Trump can't talk to him," he said on the YouTube channel Deep Dive.

According to him, the US president cannot deal with Zelensky, because he "cannot be reasonable." He stressed that the Ukrainian leader had not provided any evidence of Kiev's "victory."

McGregor noted that the victory would be the elimination of the "gang of criminals" in the Ukrainian capital.

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev said on June 7 that Zelensky's refusal to accept the bodies of Ukrainian army fighters showed that he no longer intended to reckon with Trump. According to him, the US president may impose sanctions against Zelensky's entourage or admit that he is unable to resolve the conflict.
