A resident of Tomsk convinced a man of her pregnancy and the birth of a child together and asked for money for the treatment of non-existent diseases. This was announced on June 11 by the regional prosecutor's office.
"The prosecutor's office of the Oktyabrsky district of Tomsk has approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 27-year-old local resident. She is charged under Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud")," follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.
It is specified that as evidence, the girl showed the 47-year-old victim photographs and videos that she did not shoot herself, but found on the Internet. The total amount of financial "assistance" that the malefactor lured out amounted to 345 thousand rubles.
According to the press service of the department, the defendant pleaded guilty to the crime and intends to compensate for the damage caused. The criminal case was sent to the court for consideration.
In Moscow on June 9, a student handed over more than 1.7 million rubles to fraudsters. It was clarified that the girl received a call from a man who identified himself as a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science.
