- Orban announced criticism of Hungary by Zelensky for refusing to send troops to Ukraine

The Hungarian people do not want to take part in the Ukrainian conflict and finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), despite criticism from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was announced on June 11 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
"President Zelensky opposed us because Hungarians do not want to die for Ukraine. <...> And Hungarians do not want their money to go to Ukraine!" he wrote on his Facebook page (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
Orban also called for not allowing the Ukrainian regime to make decisions for the Hungarian people.
On the same day, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said that Zelensky was spreading crude anti-Hungarian propaganda and accusing the country of allegedly interfering in the internal affairs of Ukraine. According to Szijjarto, the Ukrainian leader wants to see a "puppet government" in Hungary that would help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
