New flagship venues of the Gardens and Flowers Festival have appeared in the center of Moscow

The Gardens and Flowers landscape festival, organized as part of the Summer in Moscow project, is taking place in the main squares of the capital. This was announced on Wednesday, June 11, according to the official website of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. mos.ru .

Perhaps the largest festival venue in terms of size and design, the prototype of which was the botanical garden, unfolded on Manezhnaya Square. During the festival, Revolution Square turned into a vintage market surrounded by five-meter-high lime trees and mulberries, rare for Moscow.

The French Garden was laid out in the space between Manezhnaya Square and Revolution Square. The elegant wrought-iron decor creates a special atmosphere here. In addition, guests are invited to sit at a table in the shade of an umbrella with a glass of cold lemonade or comfortably settle on a soft sofa in the lounge area and enjoy the contemplation of the garden under the rustle of lime and laurel leaves.

Sobyanin spoke on June 8 about the attendance of the events of "Summer in Moscow" — 6.3 million people attended various events in the week since the launch of the project. So, every Saturday evening, musicians perform in the capital's parks as part of the Musical Lounge festival. His repertoire includes jazz improvisations, rock ballads, and electronic experiments.
