The aircraft commander will appear in court in the Tomsk region.

In the Tomsk region, the commander of an aircraft (FAC) who violated the safety rules for the operation of air transport will be convicted. This was announced on June 11 by the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport (IMT) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Telegram channel.
"During the investigation, it was established that on November 8, 2024, at the landing site of the Urmanskoye field in the Parable district of the Tomsk region, the aircraft commander, not being convinced of the safety of takeoff in violation of the established rules, allowed the aircraft to turn spontaneously, during which three people were hit," the department said.
As a result of the incident, two men were seriously injured. Another person received injuries that did not cause harm to health. A criminal case has been opened against the FAC under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violations of traffic safety and air transport operation rules").
"During the investigation of the criminal case, an exhaustive evidence base has been collected, in connection with which an indictment has been approved, and the criminal case will soon be sent to court for consideration on its merits," the investigative department concluded.
Earlier, on May 28, the Transport Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) sent a criminal case to the court against the aircraft commander, who caused the helicopter to make a hard landing. The investigation found that on October 30, 2023, the captain of the aircraft did not take into account the weather conditions and violated the flight rules, as a result of which the helicopter crashed and overturned. As a result of the incident, the pilot and two passengers received injuries of varying severity.
