CNN reported on the imposition of a curfew in Los Angeles amid protests

A curfew will be imposed in Los Angeles amid ongoing protests against immigration policies. This was reported on June 11 by CNN.
"A curfew in parts of downtown Los Angeles will be imposed tonight after several days of protests that at times escalated into violence," the publication said.
According to Mayor Karen Bass, the decision to impose a curfew will be made "before dark, and it will take effect."
"Initially, it was assumed that it would not cover the entire center of Los Angeles," said Bass.
Mass protests in California began after a police raid to identify illegal migrants, during which 45 people were detained. On June 8, Trump ordered the National Guard to be sent to the state to stop the riots, which was condemned by the governors of 22 states, regarding it as an "abuse of power."
Izvestia correspondent Nikolai Masters reported on June 10 that protesters began throwing fireworks at police officers, as well as committing acts of robbery and breaking into establishments.
