Former employees of the administration of the previous US President Joe Biden will testify in the investigation of the Republican Party about his health. This was reported on June 11 by the Axios portal, citing sources.

"Four former employees of ex-President Biden have agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee as part of the Republican investigation into the president's mental acuity," the newspaper reported.

According to the portal, Director of the Council on Domestic Policy Nira Tanden, senior adviser to former First Lady Jill Biden Anthony Bernal, special assistant to the President Ashley Williams and Deputy Chief of Staff of the White House Annie Tomasini will take part in the investigation.

According to Axios, interviews with Biden's aides will take place behind closed doors, "as Republicans try to intimidate them with questions about alleged attempts to conceal Biden's health condition."

Earlier, on June 4, the current President of the United States, Donald Trump, ordered an investigation into Joe Biden's health status and the use of a warrant by his assistants to sign documents. The White House publication noted that Biden had suffered from severe cognitive impairment for many years, as a result of which his assistants could take advantage of the situation and use autopilots to sign important documents for selfish purposes.
