The operators of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Vostok group of forces told the details of the victory over the Babylon unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 11 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"Babylon is a unit that resisted us, provided assistance to enemy infantry units, but it did not exist for long, as we put up a lot of resistance and landed it," said the commander of the crew with the call sign Bizon.
According to him, currently the Babylon unit does not actually exist, since it has no personnel, drones and necessary technologies left.
It is specified that during the air confrontation, Russian fighters successfully destroyed reconnaissance, strike, and hexacopter UAVs of the Baba-Yaga type. The captured flag of the Babylon unit was also captured in the ruins of one of the buildings.
On June 10, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the work of calculations of heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A "Solntsepek" on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). It is specified that the strikes were carried out in the area of the settlement of Novopavlovka.
