U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Tuesday, June 10, that the United States condemns the sanctions imposed on two current members of the Israeli cabinet by the governments of Great Britain, Canada, Norway, New Zealand and Australia.

These countries have imposed sanctions on far-right ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, accusing them of repeatedly inciting violence against Palestinians.

Rubio added that these sanctions do not contribute to U.S. efforts to achieve a cease-fire, return all hostages home and end the war. After that, the Secretary of State called for the lifting of sanctions.
