The match between the Polish and Finnish national teams participating in the qualifying round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup was suspended due to health problems with a fan. This was reported on June 10 by the Polsat Sport TV channel.

"The match was stopped at about the 73rd minute. According to preliminary data, one of the fans in the stands of the stadium in Helsinki lost consciousness. Medical services immediately rushed to his aid," the publication says.

It is specified that a few minutes after the announcement, the players of both teams went to the locker rooms.

"Finland is currently leading Poland 2-1. Yoel Pohjanpalo and Benjamin Kallman scored goals for the hosts, and Jakub Kivior scored for the guests," the TV channel reports.

On June 7, the national football teams of Albania and Serbia played a draw in the group stage match of the 2026 World Cup qualification. Thus, the Serbs are in fourth position in Group K in the standings with one point, while the Albanian players are in second place with four points.
