Head of the supreme political council of the ruling Yemeni Shiite movement Ansar Allah (Houthis) Mahdi al-Mashat called on countries to move their embassies to a safe distance from possible Houthi targets. This was reported on June 10 by Al Masirah TV channel.

"Countries with embassies near our targets in occupied Jaffa should urge the enemy to move them to ensure security," the TV channel reported.

It clarifies that countries that have embassies "in the Zionist entity" can coordinate their security actions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen.

Earlier, on June 6, the media reported a Houthi strike on Ben Gurion Airport in Israel with a hypersonic missile. As a result of the strike, air traffic at Tel Aviv Airport was suspended.
