Rabies quarantine introduced in Tyumen region

A new case of rabies has been identified in the Yalutorovsky municipal district of the Tyumen region. The territory has been quarantined.
According to the <url> news agency, the sick animal was found in the village of Novoatyalovo. During the quarantine period, any activities related to the movement and mass accumulation of animals susceptible to rabies are prohibited in the settlement. In addition, the export of animals outside the quarantine zone is prohibited.
Last week, rabies quarantine was also introduced in the village of Markovo, Tyumen region.
In April, two foci of brucellosis were found in the Stavropol Territory. Milking cows and making cheese were banned in the quarantine zone.
