The expert revealed a corrupt scheme to collect Renault drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Maxim Kondratiev, founder of the unmanned aircraft training center and corresponding member of the Russian Engineering Academy, said that the French automaker Renault considers drone production in Ukraine as a salvation from the financial crisis.

In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, June 10, the specialist noted that the company sees its financial salvation in obtaining military contracts.

"The European Union will pay for the production of drones in Ukraine and for Ukraine. And there may be a lot of schemes for cutting financial assistance that Western partners allocate to Kiev, due to the impossibility of control," Kondratiev explained.

According to him, Renault can also organize in Ukraine the production of drones in the weight category up to 70 kg — small FVP drones, multirotor systems such as Baba Yaga and variants of the aircraft type catapult-parachute vertical takeoff.

Earlier on June 10, Leonid Ivlev, a State Duma deputy from Crimea, said that if Renault decides to launch the production of drones in Ukraine, the company could become an object for a missile and bomb attack by the Russian Aerospace Forces.
