A resort area has been transformed in the center of Kislovodsk

Landscaping of a two-kilometer resort area has been completed in the center of Kislovodsk (Stavropol Territory). The transformations affected Dzerzhinsky, Rossiyskaya and Shirokaya streets, the press service of the city administration reported on Tuesday, June 10.
146 million rubles were spent on the reconstruction of three streets with a total length of 2 km. These are the first large-scale works in 30 years, writes StavropolMedia news agency.
Tiles and curbs were replaced on the sidewalks, art objects were installed and lighting was installed. New bus stops have also been added to the resort's three main thoroughfares.
The work was carried out at the expense of the resort fee accumulated over previous years. Since January 1, it has been replaced by the tourist tax, which is why the city has suspended its landscaping program.
Earlier in June, it was reported that the authorities of Kislovodsk would distribute a thousand seedlings to local residents in the summer. The townspeople should land them on the territory adjacent to the house or on the private plots of the resort.
