A one-year-old girl injured her eye after falling from a window in Sevastopol

A girl aged 1 year and 10 months fell out of a first-floor window in Sevastopol. She was left unattended for just a minute, the press service of the city department of the Interior Ministry reported on Tuesday, June 10.

The child was in the apartment with his mother. When the woman briefly entered the next room, the baby reached the window and leaned on the mosquito net. The structure couldn't stand it and opened, and the girl fell out onto the street.

According to IA SevastopolMedia, doctors diagnosed the victim with an eye injury, a fracture of the upper wall of the orbit and bruises.

In connection with the incident, the Interior Ministry recommended that parents pay close attention to the safety of children, especially minors.

Earlier in May, a similar case occurred in Moscow. A one-year-old girl fell out of the apartment window of a residential building located on Polbina Street. The child was in the apartment without the supervision of the mother.
