The organizers of the "Scarlet Sails – 2025" revealed the details of the concert program

The victory of good over evil became the leitmotif of all musical numbers of the concert part of the graduates' holiday "Scarlet Sails – 2025". The concept of the holiday also includes a significant event — the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the organizers announced on June 10.

"In the concert part of the Scarlet Sails, we will tell and show what helps the good always prevail. Let's talk about the power of unity, courage, love, faith, and hope. Of course, let's remember the great victories of our ancestors. Let's talk about the will and the spirit, about what helps us all win in a global sense," said Lidiya Butuzova, general producer of the concert part of the celebration.

According to her, the concert blocks will contain various plot elements, such as striving for new horizons, overcoming borders, respecting historical heritage and preserving traditions.

The event will begin at 22:00 on June 28 at the Palace Square in St. Petersburg. The celebration will be opened by the governor of the city, Alexander Beglov, with a blow to the market after a welcoming speech. Closer to midnight, graduates will see a water and pyrotechnic show in the Neva River.

"The theme of the victories will be revealed in every mise en scene of the water-pyrotechnic show. An interesting drama has been invented for the numbers. Together with the director, we have selected compositions that echo the leitmotif of the holiday and will find an unexpected response in the hearts of the audience," said Igor Zalivalov, composer and arranger of the water pyrotechnic show.

Familiar hits will be heard from the venues of the show, each of which has its own name: "Victory of Goodness", "Victory of Love", "Victory of Science", "Victory of Will". The performance will unfold at the Peter and Paul Fortress, on the Palace Embankment and on the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island. The culmination of the water extravaganza will be the appearance of the brig Rossiya under scarlet sails.

On June 3, the concert part of the alumni celebration "Scarlet Sails – 2024" received a silver award from one of Russia's main creative awards, the Silver Mercury, in the nomination "Best Mass Event". The award jury highly appreciated the quality of the event's organization, audience reach, effective interaction with it, and the constant growth of brand awareness.

The Scarlet Sails holiday was revived in 2005 after a long-term hiatus on the initiative of ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank, the government of St. Petersburg and Channel Five.
