Moscow court fined Apple for LGBT propaganda
The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined the American company Apple for propaganda of LGBT people (the movement is banned in the Russian Federation and recognized as extremist) using the Internet. This was announced on June 10 by the court's press service.
"The court found Apple Distribution International LTD guilty under Part 3 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (propaganda of non-traditional sexual values using the Internet)," the court told TASS.
It is specified that, based on the charges, the court fined the company 3 million rubles.
A correspondent for Izvestia reported on May 19 that the Tagansky court imposed a fine of 3 million rubles on Apple for refusing to delete false information. It was noted that the court found the company guilty under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
