The company also updated the lock screen and notification curtain, making it "glass", and the icons automatically adapt to light and dark themes. Apple calls liquid glass a new material that changes its color depending on the surrounding content. The screen adapts to light and dark themes and, as stated in the company, creates a truly vivid experience.
