VDNKH and Moscow's cultural venues have prepared hundreds of events for Russia Day

The capital's cultural centers, libraries and museums, as well as the Moskino Film Park and VDNH, have prepared a rich event program for Russia Day, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"In honor of the holiday, more than 460 events will be held at VDNKh and cultural venues in all districts of the city. Russian classics will be read in the Bauman Garden, and performances will be shown at the Kuskovo Estate. Visitors to the Moskino Film Park and other festival locations "Times and epochs "are waiting for historical reconstructions, craft workshops, exhibitions," Sergunina noted.

The main part of the events is scheduled for June 12. So, a concert of children's vocal and dance groups will be held on the stage in Fili Park. On the same day, orchestras and jazz groups are scheduled to perform at the Izmailovo estate. Workshops and lectures are organized for children.

An interactive tour will be held at the Moscow State Defense Museum, where participants will be introduced to the collection of artillery pieces of the Great Patriotic War. The museum will also tell about the Brest Fortress and the twelve cities of the Soviet Union that heroically defended themselves in 1941-1945.

VDNKH is invited to take a sightseeing tour of the territory, during which they will tell about the symbols of Russia, which are reflected in the architecture of the pavilions and fountains of the complex.

Historical lectures, quizzes and creative activities were prepared for visitors at the Robostation exhibition. And at the "City Farm" it will be possible to take part in sports competitions and watch a puppet show.

On June 13, musical instrument lessons for children and adults will be held at the Orion family theme Park.

A number of events are organized within the framework of the main project of the warm season "Summer in Moscow". It will bring together over 400 venues in the capital.
