The state prosecution has requested that Danish Annabel Jorgensen, who fought in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and took part in the invasion of the Kursk region, be sentenced in absentia to 30 years in prison. This was reported by the TASS news agency on June 10.

"I ask the court to appoint Jorgensen to 30 years in a general regime colony in absentia and a fine of 2.5 million rubles," the publication quoted a representative of the state prosecution.

The Danish citizen is charged with terrorism, mercenary activities, illegal arms trafficking, smuggling, as well as illegal border crossing using violence. She is on the international wanted list.

On May 31, it became known that the 2nd Western District Military Court would begin considering a criminal case against a Danish citizen who had invaded the Kursk region as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is clarified that Jorgensen, among other things, was involved in the seizure of residential buildings and a train station in Cambodia.
