On June 10, the Russian State Duma adopted a bill on the creation of a national multifunctional messenger in the Russian Federation.

So, the deputies supported the document in the second and third readings.

The government of the Russian Federation will determine the organization that will be responsible for the launch and operation of the national messenger. It is noted that the multifunctional messenger will provide an opportunity for secure virtual communication between citizens, as well as state and municipal authorities.

On May 30, Sergei Boyarsky, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, announced that the Chamber of the Russian Parliament had received a draft amendment on the creation of a national multifunctional digital service in the Russian Federation. It was noted that the bill provides for the further development of domestic digital services.

On June 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the transfer of government and financial services to the Russian platform.
