The only swimming lake opened in Krasnoyarsk

Lake "Mirror" in Krasnoyarsk was recognized as suitable for swimming. The sanitary and epidemiological conclusion on compliance with sanitary standards was issued by the regional Rospotrebnadzor, the press service of the department reported on Tuesday, June 10.

The reservoir is located in Tatyshev Park. So far, this is the only body of water in the region where you can swim.

According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, in addition to Lake Zerkalnoe, three more water recreation areas will be opened in Tatyshev Park in the current 2025: on the shores of Strelka and Tikhoe lakes, as well as at the backwater in the Oktyabrsky Bridge area.

Lifeguard posts will be set up for the safety of swimmers. Video surveillance will also be installed.

Earlier it was reported that landscaping works have begun in the center of Krasnoyarsk in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city. There are plans to renovate 15 cross streets, four of them in the current season.
