The V International Travel Forum "Travel!" opened in Moscow.

The V International Travel Forum "Travel!" has started in Moscow at VDNH. It is one of the key events of the year for the entire tourism industry, bringing together government, business, experts and travelers on one platform. The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Tourism Committee.

The Forum has become not just an event, but a space of meanings and solutions, where trends, technologies and challenges that determine the image of tourism in Russia for the coming years are discussed. More than 85 regions of the country and delegations from foreign countries are involved in the business and festival programs. The scale and variety of formats allow participants not only to present their travel products, but also to build long-term partnerships.

The forum opened with a plenary session "Discovering Russia: how travel changes the country", which was moderated by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and leading representatives of the travel industry.

Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Forum's Organizing Committee, emphasized: "The Travel Forum!” It has become a unique platform where tourism ceases to be a narrow-profile industry and becomes part of the country's large development agenda. We see how regions are changing through routes and cultural projects, jobs are being created, and modern infrastructure is being formed. The Forum not only reflects these processes, but also sets the pace for them."

The business program of the forum includes more than 60 events and 350 speakers covering the topics of sustainable development, digitalization, import substitution, personnel development, investment mechanisms and international cooperation. Special attention is paid to such areas as the Arctic, rural tourism, youth and inclusive routes, as well as the promotion of Russia as a tourist destination on the global stage.

The festival part, which will last until June 15, will become a point of attraction for the Forum's guests: visitors will be able to travel around the country's regions in one day, take part in gastronomic workshops, concerts, presentations of routes and national cultures. From the Golden Ring and the macro–regions of Russia to the expositions of Venezuela, Malaysia, Mongolia and other countries, the Forum will open up a real map of opportunities.

The International Travel Forum "Travel!" will last until June 15th. The site is open to everyone.
