In the Moscow region, the activities of a large drug laboratory were suppressed, for which the organizer specially purchased a two-story house with a sauna. This was announced on June 10 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

"The attacker completely converted this room into a drug laboratory with closed areas for unloading and storing precursors, manufacturing and drying drugs. A powerful ventilation and air filtration system was also installed there. For security purposes, a modern video surveillance system was placed around the perimeter," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

More than 98 kg of mephedrone and over 1.3 tons of a narcotic mixture containing the same component were seized. The laboratory's productivity was about 300 kg of mephedrone per month, and the wholesale value of the seized substance exceeds half a billion rubles.

"The investigator of the SU of the Department of Internal Affairs for the TINAO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 5 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The sanctions of this article provide for punishment up to life imprisonment," concluded Volk.

On June 9, a local resident was detained in Sevastopol on suspicion of drug trafficking on an especially large scale. 0.8 kg of narcotic substances were seized from the detainee. According to the investigation, they were intended for subsequent sale.
